Doug
Kirkpatrick founded The Celestia Group, LLC in 2002, to provide
quality executive coaching and human resources consulting services
to organizations desiring positive change.
Doug
holds a B.A. in Economics from Pacific Lutheran University and a
J.D. from Willamette University College of Law. He has spent most
of his twenty-year business career in the manufacturing sector,
principally with The Morning Star Company of Sacramento, California,
a world leader in the food industry, as a financial controller and
human resources executive.
In
June 2002, Doug became a full-time executive coach and human resources
consultant as a principal of The Celestia Group, LLC, and affiliated
with the leading-edge organizational consulting firm Rohan &
Associates (www.rohanandassociates.com).
Doug's passion is for coaching and mentoring, as well as for developing
high performance teams, networked alliances, creative leadership
and sustaining culture. In the area of human resources, Doug has
rich experience with legal compliance, compensation systems, employee
benefits, performance metrics, and 360-degree feedback systems.
Doug
is a certified executive coach, and is a member of the Manufacturer's
Council of the Central Valley, the Society for Human Resource Management,
the American Society for Training and Development, the Northern
California Human Resources Association, the Professional Coaches
and Mentors Association, and the Business Process Management Group.
In addition, Doug is a certified NetTPS® Solutions Provider,
with expertise in using powerful on-line tools to understand and
access human potential.
Doug's
presentation to the Global Business Process Forum in London in May
2003, entitled "Running an Organization Without Management",
